FitFile provides a suite of web-based document utilities — including Merge PDF, Split PDF, Compress PDF, Rotate PDF, Organize Pages, PDF to JPG, JPG to PDF, Sign PDF, Watermark PDF, Add Page Numbers, and Protect PDF — completely free of charge.

• Personal, Academic & Commercial Use: You are permitted to use FitFile tools for personal projects, school and university assignments, freelance work, and everyday business operations at no cost.
• No Mandatory Watermarks or Hidden Charges: FitFile does not place promotional watermarks on your downloaded files, nor do we demand payment or credit card details after your file is processed.
• Fair & Lawful Use: You agree not to use automated bots, scrapers, or malicious scripts designed to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the normal delivery of the FitFile website to other users.

3. User Responsibilities, File Ownership & Copyright

You Retain 100% Ownership: FitFile claims zero ownership rights over any PDF documents, images, signatures, or text that you process through our platform. The files you select and the resulting output files belong strictly and exclusively to you.

Authorization & Legal Compliance: Because all document processing occurs directly within your browser at your instruction, you are solely responsible for the files you choose to edit, merge, sign, watermark, or encrypt:

• You confirm that you own the files you process or have obtained the necessary legal permission from the copyright owner to modify them.
• You agree not to use FitFile to forge signatures, falsify official government or financial records, or engage in any unlawful or fraudulent activity.
• When using the Sign PDF tool, you understand that it applies a visual handwritten or typed signature image to your document and does not constitute a government-issued cryptographic digital certificate.

4. Intellectual Property & Brand Assets

While your documents belong entirely to you, the FitFile platform itself — including the website interface, original source code, layout design, custom graphics, the FitFile name, and official logos — is the intellectual property of FitFile and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

You may freely share links to fitfile.tech or recommend our free tools to colleagues, students, and friends, but you may not clone, resell, or misrepresent the FitFile website or brand identity as your own commercial product.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

FitFile provides all tools and utilities on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we test our tools extensively to ensure fast, accurate, and high-quality results across modern browsers:

• Always Keep Original Backups: Before splitting, compressing, or encrypting important documents, we strongly recommend keeping a backup copy of your original file on your device.
• Password Recovery Notice: Because FitFile never stores your files or passwords, if you encrypt a PDF using our Protect PDF tool and forget your password, we cannot unlock or recover the document for you.
• Device Memory Limits: Processing speed and maximum file size depend on your device's available memory (RAM) and browser capabilities. FitFile shall not be held liable for any browser freezes, data loss, or indirect damages arising from the use of our free tools.

6. Modifications to Services & Contact Information

We are continuously improving FitFile and expanding our platform with new free tools and enhancements. We reserve the right to update, modify, or improve any tool or revise these Terms of Service at any time.
