2. How Your Documents & Files Are Processed

Unlike traditional online document converters that upload your files to remote cloud servers for processing, FitFile is engineered to process your files directly within your own web browser using modern client-side JavaScript and WebAssembly technologies.

Here is what happens when you select or drop a file into any FitFile tool (including Merge PDF, Split PDF, Compress PDF, Rotate PDF, Organize Pages, PDF to JPG, JPG to PDF, Sign PDF, Watermark PDF, Page Numbers, and Protect PDF):

• No Remote File Storage: Your PDF documents, photos, digital signatures, and passwords are never transmitted to, stored on, or backed up on FitFile servers.
• Temporary Browser Memory: Files are read directly from your device into your browser's temporary local memory (RAM) only for the duration of the editing or conversion task.
• Automatic Clearing: As soon as you close the browser tab, refresh the page, or clear the selected file, the temporary memory is immediately released by your browser.
• Zero Human or Third-Party Access: Because your documents never reach our servers, no member of the FitFile team or any third-party service can ever view, read, copy, or analyze the contents of your files.

3. Personal Information & Account-Free Access

FitFile provides all of its document tools 100% free of charge without requiring you to create an account or sign in. As a result, we do not ask for, collect, or store personal identity information:

• We do not require your name, email address, or phone number to use any tool or download your processed files.
• We do not collect credit card numbers, UPI IDs, or billing addresses because our services are completely free.
• We do not maintain user profiles, document histories, or cloud folders tied to your identity.

The only time we receive personal contact details from you is if you voluntarily send us an email (for example, to request a feature or report a technical issue). In such cases, your email address and message are used solely to reply to your inquiry and are never sold, rented, or shared with marketers.

4. Cookies, Local Storage & Website Analytics

FitFile keeps browser storage and analytics minimal and respectful of your privacy:

Essential Functional Storage: Our website may use standard browser caching so that fonts, icons, and PDF processing scripts load rapidly on repeat visits. This cache contains only application code and never stores your personal documents.

Aggregate Traffic Metrics: To understand which tools are most helpful to our visitors and to monitor website performance (such as page load speed and broken links), we may use privacy-friendly, aggregate web analytics. These metrics record general non-personal data such as total page views, referring websites, device type (mobile or desktop), and browser type. They never inspect file names, document text, passwords, or personal identities.

5. Data Security, HTTPS & Encryption Standards

We implement industry-standard security measures to ensure that the FitFile web application is delivered safely to your device:

• HTTPS / TLS Encryption: Every connection to fitfile.tech is secured via HTTPS encryption, ensuring that the web application code delivered to your browser cannot be tampered with in transit.
• Strict Security Headers: Our platform enforces modern HTTP security headers (including X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options, and Referrer-Policy) to guard against clickjacking and cross-site scripting vulnerabilities.
• Password Protection Tool: When you use our Protect PDF utility, standard 128-bit PDF encryption is applied directly inside your browser. FitFile never logs or knows the password you choose, which also means we cannot recover a forgotten password for a locked file.

As we expand FitFile with new free utilities (such as Image Tools, QR Generators, Social Media Banner Makers, and Digital Invitations), we may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features or legal requirements.
